Vibrant Branding Photography for Content Creator Georgie Wishart | Hoxton + Shoreditch

Bold, fun & approachable

Working with Georgie was an absolute treat. When I think back to my shoot with Georgie Wishart, I immediately picture colour, laughter, and pure East London energy. Georgie is a digital artist and content creator with a brand that’s anything but ordinary—so naturally, her branding photos had to match that boldness.

Earlier this year, we headed out to Old Street and Shoreditch for her rebrand shoot. If you’ve ever wandered around East London, you’ll know it’s the perfect canvas for creative storytelling - graffiti walls, quirky doorways, and unexpected pops of colour at every corner. It couldn’t have been a better backdrop for Georgie’s vibrant personality and unapologetically creative brand.

Bringing a Bold Brand to Life

Georgie came prepared, and I loved it. She brought along props that reflected her world as a digital artist - snippets of her client work, pieces of her own art and even her journal. The kind of details that make her brand instantly recognisable. What made it even more special was that she also chose to showcase elements of her disability in the shoot. It was important to her that these images didn’t just look polished but felt authentic, quirky and true to who she is.

Her outfits alone were a vibe - playful, colourful, and perfectly in sync with the graffiti-splashed walls around Shoreditch. It meant we were able to create branding photos that not only looked striking but also told her story in a way that words alone never could.

The Flow of the Shoot

We spent around an hour and a half wandering through East London, stopping whenever something caught our eye - a mural here, a bold backdrop there. What I love about shoots like this is how natural they feel. It’s less about rigid posing and more about movement, energy, and letting the personality of the person in front of the camera shine through. With Georgie, that meant lots of laughter, playfulness, and creative freedom.

Why Bold Branding Photos Matter

For creatives like Georgie - whether you’re a content creator, brand designer, illustrator or freelancer building your online presence - your branding photos are more than just nice images. They’re how your audience connects with you before you’ve even said a word.

Bold, personality-packed photos can:

  • Stop people mid-scroll on Instagram or TikTok.

  • Give your website an instant “this is me” energy.

  • Help potential clients see who you really are - and why they’d want to work with you.

That’s exactly what Georgie wanted for her rebrand, and together we created a collection of images that feel fun, striking, and unmistakably her.

The Vibe of Working Together

One of the biggest compliments I hear (and Georgie echoed this too) is that shoots with me feel more like hanging out than a stiff, intimidating photoshoot. If you’re someone who’s camera-shy or worried you’ll feel awkward in front of the lens, know this: you don’t need to “perform.” You just need to show up as you and I’ll take care of the rest.

With Georgie, the shoot was all about walking, chatting, laughing, and experimenting - nothing forced, everything natural. And that’s exactly why the photos turned out the way they did: bold, authentic, and totally reflective of her brand.

If you’re a creative freelancer, content creator or small business owner looking for branding photos that feel like you (but louder, bolder, and ready to stop people in their tracks), I’d love to create that with you.

“This is the first time I've paid for professional photography for my brand and I should have done it earlier! I am so pleased with the results. Nicole was so warm and made the whole experience really enjoyable - especially as I always feel awkward having my photo taken. You would never know from the end result.”
