London Branding PHOTOGRAPHER
A big part of helping you feel confident and comfortable in front of the camera is about getting to know you, so it’s only fair that you can get to know me too…
I’m Nicole, and I’ve been a professional brand photographer for over 11 years now. With over 2,600 shoots under my belt, I still love it as much as I did my first day (maybe more, if that’s even possible).
What started out as my favourite pastime as a teenager became an official paying job when I moved to London and picked up a weekend job working for someone who took photos for online dating profiles.
Now, my clients range from coaches to yoga instructors, podcasters to soundbath teachers, influencers to estate agents, artists and makers to accountants, speakers to brand designers, musicians to doctors, who all know how important authentic and aligned photos and videos are to growing their profile and their business.
This might be a photoshoot for a solo business owner, team headshots for a company, capturing a day in the life, or covering an event; whatever it is, my favourite thing is to be there immortalising it.
I believe having a good time throughout your photo shoot is as important as getting great images at the end.
Just because something is important, doesn’t mean it’s easy, and I totally get how anxiety-inducing it can be to have your photo taken. My sessions are always a safe space where I’ll help you feel comfortable and relaxed, so that you not only get new headshots but a confidence boost too.
From the very beginning, capturing authenticity has always been a huge part of my work. Watching your fear and hesitation melt away in front of the camera to make way for your passion and personality, and seeing you use your new photos with new and renewed confidence, are both feelings that will never get old!
Outside of work I’m a huge TV and film lover with a vast trivia knowledge – my friends now refuse to play theme tune quizzes with me, sob – and a voracious reader. I love going to the theatre and to live gigs, and in my time have photographed quite a few for online magazines, like Florence and The Machine, Kylie Minogue and Hozier.
You can usually find me wearing a vibrant jumper and colourful handmade earrings – because dopamine dressing is 100% my jam.
