A little something to calm the nerves before your shoot
Your pre-shoot pep talk to quiet the nerves and remind you that you're already more than ready. You’ve got this.
So you've booked your shoot. First of all, well done. That takes more courage than people give themselves credit for, and I mean that genuinely.
Now, if you're the kind of person who immediately starts second-guessing that decision and wondering whether you're "ready enough" or secretly hoping something comes up so you can reschedule, this one's for you.
I collaborated with the wonderful Rachael Welford to create something a bit special as part of your shoot prep. It's an EFT tapping session designed specifically for this moment, for the nerves, the "what if I look awful" thoughts, and the general chaos that can happen in your head in the run-up to being in front of a camera.
You don't have to do this. There's zero pressure. But if you're open to it, a lot of people find it genuinely useful and some find it a bit life-changing, which is a big claim but here we are.
About Rachael:
Rachael Welford is an emotional freedom technique practitioner and confidence coach who works with entrepreneurs, creatives, and heart-led business owners who are ready to stop letting fear do the driving. She's brilliant, warm and really knows her stuff. You can find out more about her and her work at rachaelwelford.com.
BEFORE YOU PRESS PLAY
Find somewhere quiet where you won't be interrupted for about 17 minutes. You can sit or stand, whatever feels comfortable. Rachael will walk you through everything, including the tapping points and what to do if something comes up emotionally during the session, so you don't need any prior experience. Just show up as you are.
And if you want to go a bit deeper with EFT beyond this session, Rachael has a book and also offers 1:1 sessions. She even set up a special code for her booking page that will give you some money off. Just use the promo code “NICOLE”.
You've done the tapping. Now you're ready.
I'll see you on OUR shoot day! 🎉
